How to Apply for Eligibility

Eligibility Application Deadline: 5pm, September 6, 2019

An eligibility application (including all attachments in numerical order) must be submitted using our online grants management system. Eligibility applications must be received by 5:00pm on Friday, September 6, 2019 in order for an eligibility determination to be made prior to the following grant cycle. Late and/or incomplete applications will not be reviewed. An applicant organization will be notified by mail if its application is incomplete and will have the opportunity to submit a complete application the following year.

Applicants with complete applications, will receive notification of their eligibility determination by mail after SCFD has conducted a thorough review of the organization. Eligibility confirmation may take anywhere from a few weeks to several months depending on the complexity of the organization and the volume of other requests the SCFD is processing.

Organizations must obtain eligibility confirmation before they may apply for funding. Eligibility DOES NOT guarantee funding of an organization.

Are you seeking SCFD funding for the first time?

The SCFD staff will be on-hand to go over the eligibility process and requirements. You can bring your in-progress application to have your questions answered by staff.

Attending the Eligibility Open House is not a requirement in the eligibility process. This event is to help your organization better understand the requirements for eligibility to receive SCFD funding, how your organization may comply with this, and any questions we can answer about the application. One-on-one meetings with staff members are offered on a first-come-first-serve basis.

*Organizations currently funded by SCFD do not need to reapply for eligibility.
