Description: Assist Operations staff with a variety of tasks involving financials, volunteer coordination, HR & compliance, technology, and data management. This position requires a substantial amount of training.
In this role, you will be working directly with confidential information. Because of the position of trust in which you will be placed, you will be subject to a thorough screening process including submission to a criminal background check.
Majors: Human Services, Social Work or Business Administration are beneficial, but not required
Qualifications:
•Excellent oral and written communication skills in order to communicate clearly with the general public, funders, clients, volunteers and office staff to maintain the flow of communications and address problems that may arise
•A high degree of problem solving ability and a willingness to see things through to completion
•A positive attitude and a good sense of humor
•Ability to prioritize work and meet deadlines
•Keen attention to detail and a passion for organization
•A high degree of accuracy and follow-up
•Ability to learn office software (Daylite, Huddle, etc.)
•Compassion and patience with youth, demonstrating accountability as needed
•Ability to relate well and work effectively with diverse populations
•Performance of tasks and responsibilities in a thorough and timely manner, complying with agency policies and standards and conforming to the scheduling requirements of this job description and program
Time Schedule: Flexible schedule; Normal business hours M-F 10 a.m. -6 p.m. with some weekend opportunities
Location: Both the Denver Metro area and remotely
Pay Rate: Unpaid; can be for academic credit
