POSITION SUMMARY
The Assistant Director provides administrative support to advance the strategic goals of Rocky Ridge Music. The ideal candidate is organized, professional, technologically savvy, and thrives in a fast-paced and dynamic environment to carry out the daily operations of RRM. This position reports to the Executive Director. The Assistant Director will live on the Rocky Ridge campus (465 Longs Peak Rd. Estes Park, CO 80517) from mid- May to mid-August every year.
ESSENTIAL DUTIES & RESPONSIBILITIES
- Assist with HR related functions including but not limited to payroll, search announcements, reference checks, contracts, and other related employment paperwork for faculty, staff, work-study students, and counselors.
- Implement digital and print marketing initiatives.
- Improve and maintain comprehensive database including contacts for faculty, staff, trustees, alumni, donors, students, parents, etc.
- Provide effective support for student services (e.g. recruitment, registration, admission, financial aid, billing & collection).
- Compile volunteer and non-paid internship needs, write job descriptions, and secure them in advance of the summer to meet anticipated needs.
- Review and update Handbook and other organizational documents and forms as needed
- Maximize use of available space through thoughtful scheduling of teaching hours and lodging; explore off campus lodging solutions as needed.

Compensation: $40,000 - $45,000
