Denver Philharmonic Orchestra
About Us:
Founded by Dr. Antonia Brico, Denver Philharmonic Orchestra is a semi-professional community-based orchestra with a rich history spanning over 75 years. Our mission is to reimagine the classical music experience for our entire community. We seek to bridge centuries and cultures across continents through live classical music that inspires and engages a large and diverse audience in the greater Denver community.
Board Responsibilities:
As a board member, you will play a crucial role in guiding the strategic direction of the organization. Your responsibilities will include:

Committee meetings are typically held outside of the regular board meetings, and your active participation in these committees will contribute to the overall success of the organization. - Concert Attendance and Volunteering:
Attend our concerts as a representative of the board, enjoying incredible performances while showing your support. Volunteering at concerts also helps create a welcoming and enjoyable experience for our audience. - Fundraising Support:
Assist with fundraising efforts such as donor cultivation, grant writing, and event planning. Your involvement in fundraising activities will help secure the financial resources necessary for the orchestra’s sustainability and growth. - Outreach and Community Engagement:
Collaborate with our outreach team to develop and implement initiatives that promote classical music education and community involvement. This may include partnerships with local schools, organizing educational workshops, or participating in community events.
