Our client, Colorado Railroad Museum located in Golden, CO, has a great career opportunity for a highly motivated, hands-on individual as their ASSISTANT CONTROLLER. Position responsibilities include managing the day-to-day accounting functions, generating financial reports/statements, reconciling a variety of accounts, cash management, and assisting with the annual audit, This position provides the opportunity to assist the Controller with everything related to accounting and finance, and to learn about the business from the ground up.

Qualifications include in-depth experience with accounting and an understanding of nonprofit principles. The ideal candidate will have a Bachelors degree in Accounting and strong computer skills with QuickBooks, POS, and accounting software/systems.  A focused attention to details and strong communication skills are essential to this position. Nonprofit fund and program accounting experience is a plus.
