Denver Zoo’s Safety & Sustainability department has an opportunity for a full time Environmental, Health & Safety Coordinator to support the operation, maintenance and compliance of the environmental health and safety policies, procedures, and continual improvement projects embodied in Denver Zoo’s Campus Management System (ISO 14001:2015 and ISO 45001:2018). This position requires constant presence within facilities to ensure Denver Zoo’s safety and environmental practices are being implemented. The Environmental Health and Safety Coordinator partners with internal and external stakeholders to create and maintain a safe and environmentally responsible workplace, and will provide support for a wide range of EH&S services. Candidates should have experience in the application of Environmental Management Systems, specifically ISO 14001 systems.
