POSITION PURPOSE:

The Equity and Employee Experience Coordinator will support equity, diversity and Inclusion programs and initiatives at the DAM. They will provide administrative support, facilitate trainings and workshops, coordinate fellowship and internships, and assist research and data collection for the Talent and Culture department. This is a part-time role and hours will be up to 29 hours weekly.

This position reports to the Director of Equity and Employee Experience.

PRIMARY RESPONSIBILITIES:

  • Collaborate with Director of Equity and Employee Experience to implement equity, diversity and inclusion programs and initiatives that foster a positive and inclusive employee experience.
  • Facilitate trainings and workshops to support the growth and development of an inclusive workplace culture.
  • Act as administrative support to the Director of Equity and Employee Experience.
  • Coordinate internship and fellowship opportunities.
  • Provide technical assistance to stakeholders.
  • Research and data collection for department as needed.
  • Assist with EDI committee as needed.
  • Support Talent and Culture Resources team in other initiatives and projects as needed.
  • Consistent usage of the Racial Equity Lens in day-to-day operations.
  • Yearly goal setting to support Racial Equity Roadmap initiatives.

QUALIFICATIONS (Education, Experience, Skills, etc.):

  • At least 1-3 years of experience in related role with experience in diversity, equity, and inclusion.
  • Strong understanding of equity, diversity and inclusion issues and experience with implementing related initiatives and programming.
  • Demonstrated ability to communicate effectively with all levels of an organization and work collaboratively with cross-functional teams.
  • Excellent interpersonal skills and ability to maintain confidentiality and discretion.

Compensation: $20.86-$23.39
