Colorado Ballet is a Denver-based nonprofit celebrating over 65 years of excellence in classical ballet and contemporary dance.
We present more than 50 performances annually to sold-out audiences at the Ellie Caulkins Opera House, serve 1,200+ students through the Raydean Acevedo Colorado Ballet Academy, and reach more than 35,000 contacts each year through Education and Community Engagement programming. Colorado Ballet seeks a relationship-driven Major Gift Officer to join its Advancement team. This frontline fundraising role manages a portfolio of 100–125 individual and corporate donors, driving philanthropic support through strategic cultivation, solicitation, and stewardship. Reporting to the Senior Director of Development, the Major Gift Officer plays a key role in growing contributed revenue and deepening donor engagement.
Qualifications:
- 4+ years of nonprofit fundraising experience with demonstrated success in major gifts or donor relationship management
- Strong relationship-building skills with a donor-centered approach
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills
- Proficiency in CRM systems and Microsoft Office Suite
- Willingness to work occasional evenings and weekends
