Pay Range: $20.00/hour (+$1.00/hour bilingual pay differential)

Job Description:
The Concierge sets the tone for excellent Museum experiences through ticket sales, reservations and personalized service, both in-person and on the phone. Concierge may be assigned to either a front-of-house or back-of-house role where expertise and scheduling is required. Duties include customer service and hospitality at ticketing or on phones, process reservation requests, and data entry. This position has the ability to progress through skill levels with increases in pay over time.
Work Schedule: ¾ time (30-39 hours per week, 5 days a week)
Supervises: None
Essential duties:
- Answers phone calls for ticket reservations, information, membership enrollment, onsite and offsite school program reservations and other Museum events.
- Provides service and hospitality to our guests and members through on-site ticket sales and membership enrollment
- Supports communication with Museum guests and members by replying to email correspondence and inquiries
- Performs data entry to support the data integrity of our membership database
- Occasional work as School Cashier to serve groups as needed on arrival
Minimum Qualifications/Requirements:
- High School diploma or equivalent required.
- 1 years’ experience in a fast paced service environment required.
- Ability to work holidays, weekends and evening shifts as scheduled required.
- Intermediate proficiency with Microsoft Office suite required.
- Fluency in Spanish preferred (A pay differential of $1.00/hour will be added for those who have bilingual skills)
