Artwork created with recycled materials should encourage viewers to question the sustainability and ecological impact of the artistic process and how we can all leave this planet a better place. This juried exhibit brings together artists from diverse backgrounds who have transformed discarded materials into captivating works of art. August 4 @ 8:00 am - 1:00 pm Parker Honey Festival; Mark your calendars for Sunday, August 4 when the 17th Annual Honey Festival makes its buzzworthy return to Parker. From 8:00 a.m. to 1:00 p.m. at O’Brien Park, visitors can indulge in a fun-filled event aimed at raising awareness and appreciation for the humble honeybee through an array of educational and entertaining activities. The festival will welcome between 20-25 vendors, local beekeepers and beekeeping organizations who will showcase their wares and share their knowledge on all things bees! In addition, attendees can look forward to a kids hive, music and artistic displays. To enhance the educational aspect of the festival, all vendors will be required to offer an interactive and educational activity.
