Free Days Are For You!

Organizations from across the metro area provide hundreds of free days and free programs each year made possible, in part, by funding from SCFD. (Printable 2024 free day updated bookmark.)

Some organizations are free every day such as Broomfield Veterans Museum, City of Lakewood Art Exhibitions, Heritage Lakewood Belmar Park, Foothills Art Center, Colorado Music Hall of Fame, The Aurora History Museum, Depot Art Gallery, and Louisville History Museum! Denver Museum of Nature & Science

SCFD Free Day - Satisfy your science curiosity during our SCFD Free Days and Free Nights. No need to reserve your ticket ahead of time online. Walk up anytime during Free Days or Free Nights and gain access to the Wildlife Halls or our permanent exhibitions. A separate ticket is required if you'd like to visit the planetarium or the brand-new Infinity Theater.

Clyfford Still Museum

Día del Niño Celebration Program: Join the Clyfford Still Museum for a city-wide celebration of children worldwide during Día del Niño (Day of the Child) from 10:30 a.m. to 12:30 p.m. on Sunday, April 28, 2024. Stop by the Museum’s outdoor forecourt to participate in an art-making session with a Denver-based artist. Enjoy child-friendly dance performances by local groups on the forecourt. This activity is free, and no registration is required. This event will be on a SCFD Free day.

What Makes It Home: Resident Artist Show by Heather Schulte and PlatteForum's ArtLab Youth Interns - Through an immersive and interactive installation, viewers will be invited to settle in and engage with domestic objects and settings as an intersection of private and public space. We will consider questions of shelter, health, and safety and how they are inextricable from each other and economic and political contexts.
