South Suburban Parks and Recreation – Nature Programs
Nature Center and Park Visitation - The Carson Nature Center is open for drop in visitation weekends from 9:30am - 4:30pm. Visit live animals, build city on our flood table, and explore exhibits. Over 6 miles of trails in the open space, and five fishing lakes are open sunrise to sunset daily.

Clyfford Still Museum SCFD Free Day and Disability Pride Celebration - Enjoy free mini-tours at 11 a.m. and 2 p.m. and Disability Pride Celebration activities from 10:30 a.m. to 5 p.m. Free admission 10 a.m. to 5 p.m.
Historic Elitch Gardens Theatre
Concert in the Carousel – Flatirons Jazz Orchestra. Rated “Best Big Band in Denver” by CBS Local, FJO is a traditional 18-piece big band. The band authentically recreates the great Swing-Era dance music of Duke Ellington, Benny Goodman, Count Basie, Glenn Miller, Stan Kenton, Gene Krupa, Ella Fitzgerald, Billie Holiday, Diane Schuur, Buddy Rich, and more. Refreshments will be available for purchase. Bring lawn chair seating and blankets to enjoy this free Concert in the Carousel!
