Free Days Are For You!

Organizations from across the metro area provide hundreds of free days and free programs each year made possible, in part, by funding from SCFD. (Printable 2024 free day updated bookmark – PDF.)

Some organizations are free every day such as Broomfield Veterans Museum, City of Lakewood Art Exhibitions, Heritage Lakewood Belmar Park, Foothills Art Center, Colorado Music Hall of Fame, The Aurora History Museum, Depot Art Gallery, and Louisville History Museum! SCFD Free Days at Marjorie Park: Enjoy free entry into Marjorie Park from 9:00am to 4:00pm on the below SCFD Free Days, May through October. Last admission is granted at 4:00pm and the park closes at 5:00pm. Advanced registration is required.

Marjorie Park Uncorked: Marjorie Park Uncorked features wine, beer, yard games and live music, performance or comedy! New in 2024, bring your own picnic*! There is limited seating available, first come, first served and all are welcome to bring their own folding chair, cushions and blankets. Doors open at 5:30pm. *No outside alcohol and factory sealed beverages only.

Disability Pride (Americans with Disabilities Act) Celebration: Enjoy hands-on art-making and a movement-based activity for children and their families as the Clyfford Still Museum celebrates the 34th anniversary of the Americans with Disabilities Act (ADA)! Stop by the Museum’s outdoor forecourt from 10:30 am to 12:30 pm for a dance session brought to you by a Denver-based community partner. Alongside dance, there will be an art-making activity from 10:30 am to 12:30 pm. Visit and learn more about local community organizations that support and uplift people living with disabilities. These drop-in activities are for all ages and abilities. American Sign Language interpreters will be available. This event will happen on a SCFD Free Day.
