Gregg Deal is an artist and member of the Pyramid Lake Paiute Nation. His body of work, from performance art to murals and more, explores what it means to be indigenous in the 21st century. Deal has served as artist in residence at both the Denver Art Museum as well as the Art Students League of Denver. His most recent work for the Art Students League is featured here in honor of Indigenous Persons Day on Oct. 11.
