Position Overview
Colorado Ballet is seeking a motivated Accounting Associate for our office in the Arts District on Santa Fe. This is an ideal entry-level position in the accounting field. Colorado Ballet’s Accounting Associate is responsible for providing superb front-line customer service for all Colorado Ballet departments. This position requires someone who can handle a high volume of transactions with an elevated standard of detail and accuracy. This individual reports to the Director of Accounting.
Key Duties and Functions
• Managing accounts payable process
• Managing purchasing card program
• Preparing and submitting journal entries
• Entering, tracking, and making check deposits and cash deposits/withdrawals
• Accounting for credit card deposits
• Assisting with boutique inventory management
• Maintaining filing system for Finance department
• Assisting with yearly audit preparation
Position Requirements
• General customer service and administration experience
• Associate Degree in Accounting or similar education; Bachelor’s Degree in related field preferred
• Cash handling experience
• Clear and professional written and oral communication
• Highly detail-oriented and organized
• Strong computer skills with excellent knowledge of Microsoft Office Suite

Salary: $42,500
