Position Title:  Box Office Lead

Salary range $18.00-$20.00

FLSA: Non- Exempt

Position is responsible for processing ticket orders by phone, mail, and in-person, while providing superior, inclusive customer service, and assisting the Box Office Manager with other Box Office duties as assigned.

General Statement of Duties:

  • Provide a high level of customer service to all Arts Center guests in a friendly, welcoming, and efficient environment.
  • Maintain a high level of cultural sensitivity with the ability to work with patrons of all backgrounds and abilities
  • Process phone and in person orders using Spektrix, a web-based CRM system.
  • Assist customers with purchase decisions such as performance availability, pricing, and seating recommendations. Assist and respond to patrons with information about our Theater.
  • Maintain current and in-depth knowledge of schedule, events, and all sellable items, and purchasing policies.
  • Collect complete and accurate data from customers.
  • Contribute to the environment of the box office by maintaining a positive attitude and genuine interest in helping others.
  • Provide oversight of Box Office Representatives during performances.
  • Maintain box office banks, prepare advanced reporting & box office statements.
  • Responsible for building and selling artist merchandise through clover and provide merchandise reports at the end of the shift.

Requirements:  

  • High school diploma or equivalent is required.
  • At least one year of box office experience with a combination of phone and walk-up sales strongly preferred.
  • Minimum of 2 years front-of-house and/or patron service experience preferred.
  • Experience working with an integrated ticketing and a patron service management software system preferred.
  • We require enthusiastic dedication to excellent customer service
  • A passion for performing arts a plus.
  • All candidates must be able to work evenings and weekends.

Compensation: $18.00 - $20.00 / Hour
