Status: Full-Time / Location: must be based in Boulder/Denver Colorado; majority of duties done remotely
Position Summary
Ars Nova Singers seeks a creative, relationship-driven Marketing Manager to expand and strengthen the organization’s public presence and amplify the mission of Ars Nova through inspired storytelling and digital strategy. This role is both strategic and hands-on, combining communications leadership with marketing prowess.
As a key member of the organization’s leadership team, the Marketing Manager serves as one of the primary public voices of Ars Nova Singers through marketing efforts—helping communicate the ensemble’s artistic vision, educational impact, and cultural relevance to audiences, supporters, and the broader community.

Primary Activities & Responsibilities
Digital Presence & Brand Storytelling
- Lead the development and maintenance of Ars Nova Singers’ online presence, including a major revamp of our website, arsnovasingers.org
- Ensure the website is current, engaging, visually compelling, and aligned with the organization’s artistic identity
- Improve website ticketing – oversight and operation
- Develop messaging and content with input from Artistic Director and Executive Director that reflects Ars Nova’s values, programs, and artistic excellence
- Develop marketing materials of unique offerings
Email Outreach & Patron Communication
- Coordinate and manage email communications to patrons, donors, and prospective ticket buyers
- Plan and execute campaigns around concerts, fundraising, education initiatives, and special announcements, including press releases
- Maintain audience mailing lists and implement best practices for segmentation, targeting, and engagement
Digital Campaigns, Advertising, & Social Media
- Coordinate campaigns of digital advertising (Google, Meta, etc.) and social media promotion, including Spotify, YouTube and SMS utilization
- Collaborate with designers, photographers, and video creators as needed
- Manage Ars Nova’s social platforms with a consistent voice that is inviting, mission-driven, and artistically distinctive
- Track and evaluate campaign performance/ROI; adjust strategy based on results
Stakeholder & Community Relationship Building
- Support the Executive Director in strengthening Ars Nova’s visibility within the broader cultural community
- Develop sponsorship strategy and marketing in collaboration with the Artistic Director and the Executive Director
- Oversee newspaper, radio, and external advertising including pay to play opportunities
- Develop marketing strategy to expand brand followership to local communities, national and international audiences
Collaboration & Organizational Leadership
- Work closely with the Executive Director, Artistic Director, Board leadership, and staff to align communications with organizational priorities
- Serve as a key representative of Ars Nova’s mission at events, performances, and public-facing engagements
- Manage marketing budget, provide oversight
- Support the development of promotional materials and audience-facing messaging across platforms
Desired Qualifications
- Bachelor’s Degree
- Demonstrated experience in communications and marketing—especially in arts or nonprofit settings
- Strong writing and storytelling skills, with an ability to communicate both warmth and artistic sophistication
- Experience managing websites and coordinating redesigns (WordPress or similar platforms preferred)
- Familiarity with email platforms (Mailchimp, Constant Contact, etc.) and digital campaign strategy
- Confidence working with social media platforms, digital ads, and content planning tools
- Passion for choral music, arts education, and the mission of Ars Nova Singers
