Where Culture Meets Capitol
Historically, SCFD hosts a day at the State Capitol to engage legislators in the Denver metro area’s wonder and a wide array of arts, science, and cultural offerings.
Art, music, and science will once again fill the halls of the Colorado State Capitol in celebration of Culture for All on Tuesday, February 18:
9:00 – 10:00 a.m. Stop by the West Foyer for breakfast burritos, Mr. Bones, and the SCFD Bear.
10:00 – 11:00 a.m. House and Senate celebrate SCFD Day.
11:00 – 12:30 p.m. Return to the West Foyer for exhibits by a selection of SCFD’s grantees including birds of prey from HawkQuest, screen-printing by Cherry Arts, insects from Butterly Pavilion, Inside the Orchestra’s instrument petting zoo, and more.
