Communicator’s Toolkit

Use your voice

The SCFD is a resident-created district that relies on community support to keep operating. Four times, metro area voters have agreed to invest in their cultural future by launching SCFD and keeping it going. We need your help to spread the word about the value of SCFD to all of us.

Here’s how you can help.

  1. Share our social media content on your platforms.  Be sure to tag @scfd_co and use #CultureForAll!
  2. Use our logo and brand (pdf or html) whenever you can at all your events.
  3. We have newsletter, social media content, fact sheets, and curtain speech content available to meet your needs in our Communicator’s Toolkit (Google folder).  When you reach out to your networks, consider including something about the SCFD. If you need something specific or have a request for branded content, please reach out to Communications Manager, Emma Mantooth, at .

SCFD 101

If you need to talk about SCFD with groups or individuals, here’s a handy SCFD fact sheet (pdf) or county fact sheets (pdf) to help you start the conversation.

SCFD Brand Tool Kit

The evolved brand of SCFD is a blend of emotional and rational qualities, with a bolder look, tone, and feel that is holistically engaging! It is important to maintain consistency in brand and message, to ensure our community both understands and loves SCFD and all the art we stand for. SCFD’s logo may not be manipulated or changed in any way.

Logos & Color Palette

If you need a different logo file, contact the SCFD office.

Font

Fonts are a key visual component to building a consistent, powerful brand. The following font has been carefully selected to represent SCFD. It is important to utilize it to maintain a level of uniformity across all communication materials.

The font used by SCFD is Montserrat (free) or Ridley Grotesk (paid). Download the font at fonts.google.com.

Banners

Each newly funded organization receives one retractable SCFD banner (33″ x 81″) which should be prominently displayed at events. The SCFD also has additional banners of various sizes and shapes already designed. If you need a banner to display at your event, reach out to scfd@scfd.org for help. Replacement banners can be ordered at Qualimage Printing.
