Patron Service Representative (Two Openings, Multiple Positions Available)
Colorado Ballet | On-site, Denver, CO | Part-Time, Non-Exempt | Reports to Patron Service Lead

About Colorado Ballet

Colorado Ballet is a Denver-based non-profit organization celebrating 62 years of excellence. Our mission is to present exceptional classical ballet and contemporary dance through performances, training, education, and community engagement while inspiring and growing an increasingly diverse audience base. Under the direction of Artistic Director Gil Boggs, Colorado Ballet presents more than 50 performances annually to sold-out audiences in the 2,080-seat Ellie Caulkins Opera House.

About These Roles

Patron Service Representatives are more than ticket sellers. They are ambassadors of the Colorado Ballet experience. As one of the first and last people our patrons interact with, they play an essential role in creating memorable experiences that extend beyond the performance itself.

We are hiring for two different Patron Service Representative positions. You may apply for either or both.

Position 1: Seasonal, Part-Time. Shifts available exclusively during performances at the Ellie Caulkins Opera House, October 2026 through April 2027. Patron hospitality, ticket sales and exchanges in Tessitura, Will Call, and front-of-house support. Multiple positions available.
Pay: $20.00 per hour

Position 2: Regular, Part-Time. Works performances as Manager on Duty and works in our administrative office Mondays and Tuesdays, September 2026 through May 2027. Adds on-site leadership of seasonal staff, escalated patron concerns, ticket fulfillment, and CRM support. One position available.
Pay: $21.00 per hour

What We Look For (Both Positions)

  • Minimum 2 years of general customer service and administration experience; performing arts ticketing or box office experience preferred
  • History of exceptional customer service in person, over the phone, and via email
  • Experience with Tessitura or a similar ticketing/CRM system preferred
  • Calm under pressure, comfortable in a fast-paced environment, and solution-oriented
  • Dance background or knowledge is a plus
  • Bilingual in Spanish and English preferred

2026-2027 Performance Schedule

Both positions require availability for the majority of performances, including the December holiday weeks during The Nutcracker. We are closed on Christmas Day but run performances every day from December 17 through December 27. Time off during this span is allocated equitably.

  • Don Quixote: October 2-11, 2026
  • The Nutcracker: November 28 – December 27, 2026
  • Romeo and Juliet: January 29 – February 7, 2027
